We have successfully integrated with Market News International (MNI) in the past. They are among the best for FX and FI. Rather than simply being a republishing service, they are one of the firms in "media lockup" when the gov't releases market moving data.

I came across this discussion so I thought to contribute. Benzinga provides real time news for brokerage platforms, other technology providers and quants for algo trading. We are mostly focused on equities but do cover other markets including futures and forex. Some of our customers in retail are TD Ameritrade, Tradestation, and Optionshouse. We also work with Props, Family offices Agency desks, Wealth Management firms among others. I have found that we are low cost provider as well which has helped a ton of firms.

I fully understand trading on news as a quick on your feet decision based upon instinct. Taking the wrong side is a common experience and immediate trade reversal to minimize the pain is mandatory. News trading is frequently a feeding frenzy with conventional traders and HFT feeding off each other in a all out Street fight. I never understood how anyone believed crafting a useful application was possible. An aggregating news application, why not? Assuming a reaction to news requires precognition. As Taleb says, no one knows what happens next and expect random responses to random events. Also, how does a news application handle something such as the GoPro (GPRO) earnings release last week. Reopens and gaps north of 60, sells off, churns a little and then breaks down into the mid 40's. These days the value of such an application may be greater when used to avoid events rather than trade them.
