My FX Fund is looking at adding the AlgoTrader platform to our mix for system development. We are looking for stand alone system optimization and portfolio testing capabilities since we trade 24 FX pairs total spread out over 2 separate fund accounts. Are there any other platforms that trading groups are using for very thorough portfolio backtesting and optimization?

I know how to conduct "proper" optimization runs...been doing this for 12 years now and works great if perfromed properly.

I utilize optimization to build operational models to then backtest/forward test...out of 10 to 12 options we then end up with 2 to 3 options that are the best route to go.
